The artist, Marilyn M. Soper has been crafting Pens, and other wooden and acrylic objects for several years. She is not only self-taught but has been a student of the Connecticut Valley School of Woodworking. A member of the Central Connecticut Woodturners (CCW), the American Association of Woodturners (AAW), and a member of the International Association of Pen-makers (IPS).
The artist has recently earned certifications from several courses on everything about resins, and using them with wood. Certifications include, but not limited to River (epoxy) tables, charcuterie boards, flower preservation for wedding flowers as well as flowers from memorials, clocks, coasters, jewelry, and many other products, she is especially excited about resin arts.

We also have some from famous athletes including but not limited to Carl, “Yaz” Yastrzemski, Joe DiMaggio, Muhammad Ali, Earnie Banks. We also carry many pens made for the professional from Medical, fireman, police, pilot, musician, to military. we have instruments that represent natural beauty; see our lighthouse pen, which actually lights up, or a pen with an hour class as a top, and even a kaleidoscope! If you can imagine it, we can make it! We turned a pen for a client who plays the bagpipes and he wanted one made from American Black wood, and shaped like one of the pipes.

Resin and Wood
Sassy’s fine wooded skills include, but not limited to, charcuterie boards, serving trays, River tables, paper towel holders, napkins holders, wall hangings, coasters, flower vases, clocks, specially made picture frames, tee-light candle holders, bowls from both wood, and wood and resin. If you want to use your imagination again, we can put anything into resin to preserve it; including family, pet photos, or any piece of a memory you don’t want to let go.

Sassy’s Quills is expanding into the art and preservation of Bridal Bouquets , remembering a lost love one with resin preservation of funeral flowers with grief card or a favorite photo. We will also be doing beloved fur babies, with ash preservation inside resin with or without pets photo.

REMEMBERING A LOVE ONE
Have you recently lost a loved one and need something to remember them by? Many of those grieving often save flowers from the services, We can dry those and put them in heart shaped (or any shape) resin with a favorite photo or a card from the services. This can be anything you want to preserve for a lifetime, it can be anything you will always want. .
OUR BELOVED PETS
We can put your fur baby’s ashes in to a beautifully shaped resin mold of your choosing, along with your favorite photo, and even their collar and name tags. Your pet came into your life and left a piece of them in your heart. .
